Livio Parisi and Rosaria Veronesi live and work in Castelletto di Brenzone.
In 2004 they opened a small restaurant by the harbour called Osteria al Pescatore, which only serves freshly caught fish from the lake.
There is no menu since the fish served depends on that day’s catch. It is cooked with and accompanied by local produce, first and foremost extra-virgin olive oil from Lake Garda, which comes in different varieties from different parts of the lake - the Verona, Brescia or Trent side.
Not to mention seasonal vegetables and delicate aromatic herbs.
This book is a joint effort and contains all the recipes that have been published in Il Lago di Garda in recent years. Their previous books include
